What Makes Two Women and a Tray Catering Stand Out
About Two Women and a Tray Catering
I’m a corporate wedding and event caterer in Milford, MI, specializing in providing a restaurant-style ambiance to my clients. I started my business sixteen years ago.
Initially, when I informed my husband that I would be launching a business, he thought it was going to be a hobby. However, from doing small parties, I’ve grown through referrals to cater for large events, including bridal showers, communions, and graduations for my clients.
I serve clients within a forty-mile radius from my home in Milford, including Brighton, South Lyon, Novi, and Fenton. I also travel to Belleville, Ann Arbor, Ortonville, Troy, and Rochester Hills for events.
The Two Women and a Tray Catering Difference
One aspect that makes my service second to none is that clients find my food tasty, as I prepare my dishes from scratch and only use fresh ingredients. Besides, I pay meticulous attention to the presentation to customize themes as every customer is unique.
What also sets me apart is that I offer a one-stop-shop for catering, including dishware, flatware, linens, tables, and chairs. If I don’t have every item needed, I will shop around to rent it, which saves the client time and money.
I also take pride in providing service with a smile and organizing my team efficiently. Consequently, once I get to a location, my crew takes over, and I love to tell the client, “here is a glass of wine, now go get ready for your guests, and when you come back, everything will be ready, and I will make your party a success.”
One of my most significant achievements has been consistently putting on my largest event for the past five years. It includes serving over five hundred guests, with six buffets and twelve lines within thirty minutes, which is challenging, but fun.
My dream for the future is to continue to take on new challenges, whether it’s experimenting with a new recipe or doing something I’ve never done before. That said, I never bite off more than I can chew and concentrate on following up with the client to find out what makes them tick, which brings kudos.
I also believe in giving back to society, and as part of that belief, I donate to youth sports fundraisers annually and offer breakfast or lunch for youth assistance programs. These activities take time out of my busy schedule, but they are important to me.
